Hi. To answer your question about going from engraving to tattooing, I would say that as long as you know from the start that the two arts are 180 degrees different from eachother, then you can make the transition fairly easily. It helps when learning tattooing if you already have mastered other artforms too. Tattooing can be detailed, but on a larger scale and no where near as detailed as your bulino.
