antique practice plates
some plates I discovered folded in paper at the bottom of a box of old gravers I bought off fleabay 4 yrs ago. I just recently discovered them as you could not tell they were even there. I almost threw the box away!
I also think it is a fair assumption that these were done ca. 1911, as that date appears on one of the plates.

Second Practice Plate
Dog was done on one side, then practiced straight lines, then practiced borders, then drew and transferred center design. Better than my first, but still a long way to go. Please comment, critique, any help is appreciated. Thanks
