You need to make yourself a light dome so you can get this quality all the time. Scrounge up an unused plastic tub - the semi-translucent kind - and cut a hole in one end just big enough for your camera's lens. Set it over the piece, arrange lights outside (or take it outside in the sun) and fire away.
