Looks like the on/off toggle brass fitting broke though shipping. I'll send a replacement right away. Until the replacement comes you can bypass this on/off toggle.
Unscrew the hose barb that the compressor tube connects to at the toggle switch and screw it in the location where the on/off toggle connects to the regulator. Now you can just use the regulator to turn on/off by adjusting the pressure to zero, or to turn it on, adjust the pressure to 40psi. You can take the tool up to 60 or even 80 if needed for more power, but for now to work with and get used to it run it at 40 to 60psi.
The replacement toggle is on its way.
