Knowing Steve and his cunning ways, it is always a must to wear a tinfoil hat to be protected from his spy radio transmitter (integrated into _all_ PalmControls, that's why they cost you an arm and 4 toes).
I engraved two days without a hat and I got irresistible urge to buy two, yes two, of his hovering/anti-gravity vises. Not good. I took a 2 week rehab 100 miles away from closest AirGraver and now I'm back to normal. Almost. Well, I resisted the vises, but couldn't help buying 2 extra gravers. I still need constant monitoring... Actually, the gravers are mine, my dad's and one other guy just starting engraving. All Estonian AirGravers in 20cm radius, that's history! V ![]() ![]() |

Oh now that first photo just cries out to by your avatar!
![]() BTW, some college did a study and found that tinfoil hat actually concentrates the signals inside your head. What they found was that the foil actually made a reasonably good dish and since you've still got signal coming in (sides, below, etc. unless you're completely coated) all it does is focus the signal into your head. That's why they are always planting the idea of wearing the tinfoil hat - it makes their signals work better! ![]() |

What a great picture Vilts!
![]() ![]() ![]() even eaten krispy kream donuts with Paul Hamler or Jerry Seymour yet. The tin foil hat you have on is better looking than a krispy kream donut hat. I must warn you, be carful and if you start to feel an urge for the donuts try and resist. You know what happened to Paul and Jerry don't you? See picture.. Here is Paul relaxing before the engrave-in with a donut in his mouth, jack and one of his PalmControls. He and Jerry I'm afraid are too far gone at this point. ![]() ![]()

This thread explains it all! The wife kept wondering why I was selling my "other" toys to buy Steve's wonderful tools. I'm worse than one of Pavlov's dogs. Plain, unadorned metal makes me salivate. ALL METAL MUST BE PERSONALIZED!

Yeah, tell me about it. I just can't go to store and see all those unengraved plain spoons, forks, cups... I usually buy a few to relieve the stress, at least there's hope for them, when they are waiting on my engraving queue. It's getting even worse - now I even think stainless fridge would be nice canvas...
