Introduction
My name is Jim and I reside in Alabama. I am a full time mechanical piping designer by trade and a part time custom rifle builder. My area of interest are early american long rifles and competitive ML pistol shooting. I attended my first class last year, I enjoyed it and learned a great deal. The type of engraving found on early long rifles does not stand up to the quality that most on this site can produce and I doubt that I will ever be able to produce great work but I have enjoyed learning and practicing and hope to be able to produce clean lines one day. Hi to all and thanks for a great forum.
