Default Hello from England

I was originally apprenticed as a Stereotyper and Electrotyper ( hot metal duplicate printing plate maker ). We had to be able to hand engrave as part of out trade - repairs, cutting accents from a blob of solder, never anything to complex. My other interests are machine engraving. I have a Plant rose engine, a Gudel straight line engine and my pride and joy a J.H.Evans ornamental turning lathe. Regards to you all and a good new year.

Welcome Barry.

It would be a pleasure to see your lathes and some of the work you do.
