Thank you Phil,
Showing these steps is really great of you.
So is the difference between this one and last what you did this morning?

Phil are the flowers lines too or more of a dot technique? Thanks for posting the pics of the process, it is always interesting to see how other artists work.

What a stupid question that was.
Lets rephrase,
How much time did you spend on this engraving since the last pic?
Is that like 2 hours or closer to 6?

Geeze Phil that's fast and accurate cutting. I'm surprised to see that you shade as you go along. The only time I've done that is to break up the monotony of removing background all in one step but I can't help but pick up the sand paper and sand back the work so I try to do all the shading last.

Thank-you for posting the step-by-step .... there's always a cool leaf variation or element in your work which helps me out at a time of "artist's block".

Hi Chris,

I don't usually shade as I go along, read my earlier reply.

Glad the flowers were a help to you

Phil

Stunning work Phil there is nothing that comes to the sheer clean lines and cutting of your work. Art at the highest level.

Cheers
