Hi,

Thanks Steve for referring to my post for beginners but dummys???

Well maybe so...

Just checked it out again and it now has over 18,800 hits in two years...

Just wanted to thank you and others on this site for all the great information and continued support of this art form.

I am just surprised at the popularity of that thread...It really is nothing compared to all the real super engravers threads on this site.

Thanks again..

I have downloaded most of those books in pdf, and then as a lark, went to Alibris online books. Many are available, as reprints in a softcover format, for as low as $15 USD. There is a company in New Jersey that is doing the printing, probably of off the same downloads as listed, but they come bound!

Wow, what a great find of old books. The implementation of engraving for printmaking in the fine arts is where I am very interested. Finding stuff like this makes me wish there were 29 hours in a day. Thank you.
