Default First cuts in steel

A patient of mine gave me an old .32 caliber auto that was so rusted that none of the parts would even move. He had seen one of the Morgan dollars that I engraved and thought I could use it as a practice piece. From what I could ascertain, it is a "Automatica Espaniola Buffalo" that was made in Spain in the late 1940's. It took 12 hours to loosen the rush enough to move the parts enough to move enough to disassemble to pistol and sand it down to bare metal down to 600 grit.

I then began to engrave it by dabbing matte finish, white, nail polish onto the metal and drawing a rough outline of what I wanted to engrave. Didn't start out expecting to do 100% coverage, but once I started...... I just couldn't stop. It was such a blast. Can't wait to start taking my engraving lessons this summer. Any and all criticism is welcomed.
