She is coming along
I was at My sister Kim's house this evening. She has been learning to engrave for a while now.
I ask her if she has been putting in much bench time and she told me," Not as much as I would like but I have been drawing and working on my scroll". Well I swiped a couple of her drawings to bring home and share with you guys. |

Oh my God! I must stop engraving now....and sharpen my pencil....
Thanks for sharing. Did you teach her drawing? Zernike |

Re: She is coming along
Actually no. She has a similar classical fine art training as I do. She teaches art but is fed up with high school kids. She wants to engrave instead of teach.
Hey, who can blame her. Ray |

Ray, I really like the middle drawing. The simple elegance catches my eye. Thanks for posting those.

Wow that girl is really going to set the bar high. Looking forward to seeing how her steel work turns out.
