Welcome Brasscratcher, Looks very nice. How did you do it? Is similar to a scratch board and it starts out black and you scratch through it to create the light color lines?

Very nice work something you do not see everyday for sure.
HMMMMM I bet I could use my rotary tool and get some sweet results with that black brass scratchboard style. I am going to have to look into that.

When I was a kid on the farm I used to do something like this. We had pine tar and we used it for many things, we thined it out with gas to what ever thickness we wanted. I would take it and spread it in thin layers on some scrap sheet metal up to 4 layers then with my sharp nail that I used to do everything including my first engraving, I would scratch out pictures of the horses on the sheet metal. It would take alot of time but I love to make things come alive in my drawings.
