Default using your other foot for throttle or just get a pc

If you are lucky enough to own a palm control then you wont have to worry if you injur one of your legs. But, if you have a foot control piece, I recomend practicing with your non dominate foot from time to time. When I first started about six months ago I asked my self what would I do if a broke my leg? So, I started using my left foot on my throttle, good thing I got comfortable with it because now I need to use it. I think I am going to save up for a pc!

Never thought about it before but I use both feet to run my equipment. I have a old Gravermeister that I occasionally use and I operate the foot control with my left foot. My Lindsay foot control is operated with my right foot. Interesting trhat you brought it up.

Roger H,

Since I got my PC I never use my Gravermeister. Can you tell me what kinds of jobs you prefer the Gravermeister for over the Lindsay? I've had the Gravermeister over 30 years and am too attached to it to sell it but I'm not sure what it is good for.

I had my back go out and could not sit for more than a few minutes at a time.
Had to stand on one leg and work the foot control which made my other leg get sore, thats when I thought I need a PC

Sometimes my rheumatoid locks up my ankles so I put the foot control between my knees and squeeze like on a motorcycle.I will eventually upgrade to PC.
