Here is another Steve Hoel engraved by C.J.Cai. And last but not least a Ken Onion Bump engraved by C.J.Cai. It's known as the Hula Girl Bump.

Those are exceptionally NICE. I have never met Mr. Cai but have admired his work that i've seen in various places.

Thanks for showing them.

C.J. is a very nice guy, very talented too. I just got the Hoel from him at the Las Vegas Antique Arms & Knifemaker show. He bought the knife from a dealer a while back and engraved it to sell at the ECCKS but when I saw it in Vegas I persuaded him to sell it to me then. He also mentioned that he wants to start using a lot of gold but was concerned that to apply it he would have to go too deep into some knives and would run into screws. Not being an engraver I couldn't help him but somebody here might have some advice about that.

Thanks for the kind words about my knives.

C.J. is really a fine artist and engraver as your pictures indicate. I spoke with him at the Reno FEGA show a few days ago and he had some outstanding examples of his work there. You are fortunate indeed to own some of his work.
