Default Photos of the engraving of the first Darne VHS .410 Magnum

Hello everybody!!!

I'm French and I live in Saumur, in the Loire valley (wine, horses...).

I allow to send you the last photos of the engraving of my shotgun Darne V Hors-Série .410 Magnum, the first ever made in this caliber. This engraving is always in progress...
It is realized by master - engraver Geoffroy GOURNET (www.gournetusa.com ).

The engraving will certainly be ended for the next international hunting show of Rambouillet 2011 (Yvelines, France) where the rifle will be displayed on the stand Bruchet-Darne.
Very cordially,
Sébastien GIRARD

Sebastien,
Very nice!!

What is unique about your gun that makes it a "magnum"? I can only assume that the shell casing is longer than 3 inches.

This gun is unique because it is the first Darne model V in .410 magnum gauge ever produced by the company....
Best regards,
Sébastien

Best regards

Sebastian,
Most nice! Truly an original piece in more way than one. It's always a pleasure to see a Darne anyway as it's my shotgun of choice, but many of the VHS grades have such heavy engraving. This is a refreshing change.
Geoffroy is doing the engraving, correct? Thanks for sharing.

Cheers

Congratulations!
Quite interesting indeed, and a nice change to normal subjects!
Curious to see it finished!
