Default Took a leap into the deep end!

I was given the opportunity to hand engrave the 2011 winners on 9 sterling silver trophy plates and a sterling silver salver. For a novice it was a big leap of faith and a test in my confidence and my own ability. As the title says I took the leap and accepted the challenge. At times I thought I was mad as some of the plates already had a lot of names on and any slip or mistake was going to cost me. Any how took my time and ventured through....I was always in control of the tool which was the most important thing to me. I didn't want to just follow the tool and HOPE it would look Ok. Thrilled with the way they turned out.....the salver had the years and the winning country alread on I just had to add the 2 Club names for 2010 and 2011....and guess what...the year and country weren't in line....so I had to narrow the lettering as I went down the line. All names layed out directly onto the metal ...no transfers. I'm not claiming to be the next Mike Dubber......but hey ....they look good....for a novice.
