Default Knifecarver- My Work

Hi,
My name is Cathy. I joined this forum a while ago but quite frankly, I was intimidated by the quality of work on this forum and was afraid to post any pictures.
I've been carving in bone for over 25 years but never found a way to market my work. Last year, my husband asked me to carve a knife handle. I like carving knives. Now I've found the niche I've been looking for.
Here are some pictures of polished stag knives I recently carved. The wolf knife is a commissioned piece. The other is a Hen & Rooster knife that is for sale. I carved the handle on this knife into a rope and I stippled shells on both sides of the guard. I carved a whale and squid into the blade (My 1st time carving metal) and on the pommel, I stippled an anchor and inserted a semi-precious stone. I'm looking for work. If you are interested or would like to see more of my work, you can go to my facebook page.

Thank you for looking. Please Comment!
