Default Hello from S. Dakota

Hello every one and happy Thanks Giving!
My name is Vlad and I have been a member and lurker for a long time since engraving always fascinated me but I could never justify the expense to give it a try. By some miraculous circumstances I have met an engraver and an incredible gentleman (you know who you are!) who invited me to his shop and let me play with all the engraving toys an convinced me to give it a go. That was October 2017, I bought what I could afford and have been having a time of my life with this!

I took 3 classes with Ray Cover and I highly recommend them especially if you haven't bought any equipment yet, since you get to try a lot of different setups.

Here is a couple of my practice plates, still a lot to learn but I feel like found what I really enjoy doing.

Hi Vlad, Good to see you posting. Really nice duck, that cat tail looks familiar.

We met in Ray Cover's Bulino class.

I'll have some dog and trout stuff in about a month, I'm on my way tomorrow for 2 weeks of scuba diving in /Grand Cayman.
