After all these years of lurking I have decided to join
I am John Hoot Gibson from Rangely Colorado, I purchased an omega from Steve in 1992, and upgraded to a newer classic a couple of years later. I am using the Lindsay sharpening system also. I have to acknowledge Kendall Smith, Aaron Laney, Stan Allen, Ron Nott, and Ron Smith for getting to to whereever I am as an engraver. Most of my work is brite cut western silver. I have started engraving some knives for fishermen and am adding dry fly patterns engraved. I had the good fortune of attending a workshop thru the TCAA, that was taught by Ron Smith. |
