Last knife finished for Blade
Ok, here is my final knife for Blade Show. It is a Joe Kious model 6. The handle is about 3 3/4" long. The engraving is pretty straight forward stuff, simple nude and arabesque scroll with gold inlay. I included a macro shot of the girls that show the shading. Thanks for taking a look. Brian

Hey!
Roger stole my post! I was going to say, looking at the knife again even the background is wonderful work. |

Re: Last knife finished for Blade
Roger and Steve, the background is just all rows of dots that create a graduation in tone. They do take some time to produce.
Thanks all for the kind words. Brian

Re: Last knife finished for Blade
I could tell Brian, and knowing how tedious and difficult it is to do that with contiguous lines, the thought of trying it with dots / short segments....
And yet, I do believe that you have shown that it's worth the effort (for those who can pull it off). |

Re: Last knife finished for Blade
Looking pretty nice Brian, I sure wish I could do something " straight forward and simple" like that
