Hi Guys
I am Grant van Antwerp from Port Elizabeth ,South Africa.
I have been Knife making for a few years now, just as a hobby, and have attempted to sculpture into s/steel knife steel with a rotary air burr. This worked but was very time consuming and not as precise as I would like. Would the air engraver be faster at removing bulk stock and be more precise with the finer detail? Can anyone help with this question? Thanx Grant |

Re: Hi Guys
It's probably not really faster, but definitly more precise. Maybe you can try to find someone not too far from where you live having an airgraver and let you try it out..
It takes some time to be able to use it effectively and get good results if you never engraved before, but its probably worth it. Good luck! |
