Wauw, thats a great looking knife.
Never knew that you could use a ball bearing for knife material.
Can you tell me how you went about it?

I had a 3" ball bearing (52100 steel), I etched it to see whitch way the grain of the steel is going. Then arc welded a steel bar for a handle at the end of the grain. Then I heated it in my forge for almost 2 hours before drawing it out in a power hammer. Once I got it to a manageable shape, I did the rest of the forging by hand. Once it was groung and sanded to 220 grit, I edge quenched it leaving the top half much softer than the cutting edge.

I was thinking, the round thing with the balls in the middle

I must say that I am looking differently at my 3.5#ball now.
Pitty I don't have a power hammer.
