Default Push Dagger No engraving

This dagger was made from a file with a rasp on one side and a standard double cut on the other. It is 1.75 inches wide by 5.5 long. The handle is deer antler polished and then coated with super glue. I can't engrave hardened steel and I liked the pattern as is. I know there are flaws and I am a big boy so all you pros go ahead and pick on it. It's the only way I'll learn.

The blade was pretty cool with that pattern.

I'll try and give some constructive criticism. It looks like the rivets aren't equally spaced. I'm not sure, but it looks like the blade is not uniform, the sides aren't equally grinded so to say. Sorry, but I can't really explain it well at the moment. My english is a bit lacking.

From what type of deer does the antler come from? And which part of the horn? Did you polish the horn again after applying the super glue? What type of glue did you use?

I know how hard it is to make an item that is equal on all sides, but where would the fun be if it was easy..

I am by no means a professional, but hopefully I've said something that made sense.

Yes the pins are a little off. The whitetail deer antler was cut from the thickest portion near the skull. It was very difficult to get it into a square shape for accurate measuring. As far as the uneven grind on the sharpened edge... I made a mistake, the blade thickness was a little greater there and I had to do it that way in order to maintain a consistent angle for sharpening.
The handle was polished then super glued then polished again...see instructions for scrimshaw work.
