Default lettering practice on gold filled watch

4265704814.jpgI practice on worn out gold filled watch cases because I have alot of it.
Did this to make practice work more interesting. The size is about 35mm by 24mm if I remember right.
Comments, critiques welcome. Kevin Scott

Hi Kevin,
Your lettering is perfect! The baseball bat is a bit off compared to the lettering though.
It looks like you drew this on by hand, way to go and I couldnt do it that good.

Thanks Daniel for the complements. Your are right, I did hand draw everything on to the work. Still have not learned to do transfers. And you are right about the baseball bat. Should have taken more time to draw it properly, and did make a slip when cutting the bat. But did not try to fix the slip, and did not polish or refinish the case after doing the engraving-cutting.
On practice work I don't try to correct mistakes. That way you are reminded of what you did wrong, and try to learn from them.
