Knifecarver- My Work
Hi,
My name is Cathy. I joined this forum a while ago but quite frankly, I was intimidated by the quality of work on this forum and was afraid to post any pictures. I've been carving in bone for over 25 years but never found a way to market my work. Last year, my husband asked me to carve a knife handle. I like carving knives. Now I've found the niche I've been looking for. Here are some pictures of polished stag knives I recently carved. The wolf knife is a commissioned piece. The other is a Hen & Rooster knife that is for sale. I carved the handle on this knife into a rope and I stippled shells on both sides of the guard. I carved a whale and squid into the blade (My 1st time carving metal) and on the pommel, I stippled an anchor and inserted a semi-precious stone. I'm looking for work. If you are interested or would like to see more of my work, you can go to my facebook page. /www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100002263107888 Thank you for looking. Please Comment!
