Selling huge piece of fossil ivory tusk to raise cash for the airgraver
I off and on do scrimshaw and some carving in fossil ivory (mastodon) and have an impressive hunk of tusk I bought to carve/scrimshaw I'm thinking or selling/trading to help me get my airgraver. If anyone is interested I'll post photos. It weighs 3lb 14 1/2 oz and has pretty honey brown bark, about 3 1/2" in diameter and 8" long I can get exact dimensions, the weight is accurate.
Anyway, I'll post a photo tomorrow if anyone is interested... Mike Here's the photos and you can get an idea of the size from my hand in the photo: |
