My blog( about my life as a hand engraver)
So, the title sounds a bit pompous actually, but really, this is a light hearted point of view about my life as a professional hand engraver.
I have just started it and I am aiming to write about 3 entries a week. I hope you will enjoy it and why not leave a comment on the blog page? ( I do like reading those comments!) Thanks! Katia http://katiafilipovicengraver.blogspot.co.uk/

Re: My blog( about my life as a hand engraver)
Hi Roger!
Thanks very much for your kind words. I thought blogging would be quite a daunting thing to do, but it actually turns out that I am having a lot of fun with it. My next post will be about my vise and an encounter with a watch maker. Sounds a bit boring but I promise it's not! ( well, I hope so!)

I just noticed this today Katia. It is very interesting. Your world is totally different than mine although we both share a love of engraving.
Thanks for taking the time to show your work and blogging. Peter |

Re: My blog( about my life as a hand engraver)
Katia,Your Record #3 looks like it just the ticket for firearms engraving with H&C,my questoin is why mount it to a work bench. Why not mount to pedesal so you can walk around it and cut scrolls in one pass without stopping and not have to turn the vise? I also stand when engraving it will save your back, please start posting your beautiful engraved firearms more often. J.J.
