Default antique tools

Can anyone identify these tools. Are they for leather? Wood? Metal? They are dated 1888 and are in good condition.

<>P, If the sleeves and gravers are marked Bowman I guess this set would bring $75-100 on Ebay. I see these sets in jewelry tool catalogs, but not marked Bowman, as described as "Bowman type". They don't seem finished as well as the original ones, but probably work just as well.
If you are looking for gravers to use I think you are better off with GRS or Lindsay gravers because the Bowman gravers will not fit in the Lindsay templates. I have 10 or so Bowman gravers. They are nice, but for some reason I don't use them, even when I am not using a Lindsay template. Maybe it is just me but also I find the older American steel gravers chip more cutting steel versus older swiss made gravers. Maybe something in the tempering. Hope this has been helpful. Kevin Scott
