Default Last good book read

I just completed reading "Flags of Our Fathers" and was totally overwhelmed by the content; so much so I intend to see the movie by the same title, directed by Clint Eastwood. It does this old former Marine proud to read of the jobs those boys did on Iwo Jima. Couldn't put it down...finished it in two readings.

Wow, you werent kidding about not putting it down, finished in two readings. I'ts allways interesting to hear the stories of people who were in such unimaginable situations, and lived to tell. I wouldnt have been a good candidate for landing n Iwo...... I dunno but I may have dove off the back and tried to swim home, the thought had to have crossed some of their minds. what do ya do but keep goin and try to stay alive.
