need HONEST criticism
ok, this is my fourth practice plate, and i am tired of doing lines...so i thought i would try some dots. can anyone tell by my bad pictures if i am going in the right direction. i have only begun to shade this piece, so it is not nearly done and thought i would get some advice before continuing. thanks to all

The anatomy of the hog is a bit off to me. If you draw a line from the center of the nostrils on the nose to the center of the ears, which makes the wrinkle between the eyes a bit off and the tusk is located right in the center also. Do you understand what I am describing?
Other than the anatomy it appears you have a nice start, keep on going!! |

yeah, i noticed the centerline of the skull AFTER i copied the picture and started the engraving, but i went on anyways since it is a practice plate. thanks for the input
