Default Fresh Off the Block....

I just finished this little Spyderco knife for a client. Detail pic could be a little better. I had been doing some restoration engraving on some very old Westley Richards parts and decided after that to design this tight, English scroll pattern to adorn the curves on this knife. English scroll...tasteful and simple...

The small tendrils lead into the main scroll pattern.

That looks great. Looking at your design makes the phrase "sometimes less is more" come to mind.

Yes, you nailed it!!! In this case, less is more. I wanted to do something tasty and classic. And so with my client working with a decent budget, gets something simple and elegant and he loves it and that's all that matters in the end. But yes, this typifies the classic scenario "less is more". I made money and my client was ecstatic about it.
