I don't mean to flood the gallery forum, but I like to post my progress. Eventually I'll slow down haha

The one thing I need some help with is "texturizing" or stippling the background on these. Right now I've been experimenting with a stippling point I made from mrthe templates. I'm hitting the metal at an angle about the same as a standard engraving point. I tried holding it straight up and down and seemed to just dig holes with it. If anyone could help me out maybe just on the basics of texturizing or stippling that would be awesome. I've already read that some of you use a high speed rotary tool for that stuff, maybe dremels? I'm really wanting to go for a john hughey type of background texture.
