Hello! I am Kathryn Holton Stewart, Goldmith/Engraver in North Carolina. My Husband and I own The Silver Bonsai Gallery in the Outer Banks of NC which is home to about 60 of our nation's finest artists alongside our custom goldsmithing shop . I look forward to picking all of your brains for the knowledge needed in mastering the art of engraving and will of course love to in turn share any thoughts I can. This is an illustration I finished tonight , I have also posted a couple of albums for your enjoyments

Welcome to the forum. There are quite a few masters in engravers in North Carolina. Ken Hurst is in Robersonville and is one of the best in the business. Your web site displays some very good engraving.

Hi Kathryn. Wow! Some beautiful jewelry rendereings in your album. I am a sucker for the Art Nouveau jewelry. We have had a lot of really great Lalilque and Fouquet pieces come through the museum here in San Francisco in the last couple of years. A really unique period in jewelry design.
