Advice On Preparing A Seashell
Hello all
New member here and new worker in scrimmshawing. In order to get some practice in before I really dig into the art, I purchased a few seashells from my local Hobby Lobby and would like any advice on how or if the seashell needs to be prepared in any way before beginning. Currently, the shell looks to be polished. Im thankful for any guidance. |

Re: Advice On Preparing A Seashell
Hi David,
If the mother of pearl is polished yes, you would just start making lines and dots. Use an oil based printers ink to make the work show up.
