Hammer and Chisel
Hey everybody, from digging around here I feel like what I have been doing is fairly unorthodox, but I would appreciate any input, especially from some greybeards, none the less.
I have taken a liking to engraving traditional tattoo flash. I use hammer and chisel, very basic setup. This is my latest piece on an aluminum primary cover. Keep in mind I have been messing with this stuff for about 3 or 4 weeks when I can on nights and weekends. I have about 40 or 50 ish hours in this craft. Thanks! |

Re: Hammer and Chisel
Another little jammer here, a small dagger. I tried to contour the blade and have a noticeable spine in the blade without tapping a line down the middle. I think I got pretty close, not sure if theres a certain technique to crisping this part up besides more practice.
