Default Ex rock hammer.

I forged this head from a rusted rock hammer.
Annealed for engraving.
Reshaped and filed the spike.
Been engraving it off and on over the last 6 months.
Think Ill make it into a Folkos (sp?) a walking cane like hiking stick.
Need to find a long piece of snakewood.
I'll selectively heat treat it and maybe blue it.
Might do a little silver inlay just in case of werewolf or vampire attack.

Brownell's Anti-Scale Compound works well. High temp mortar works in a pinch.

Thanks, ill try the mortar, I have some in the shop.
I saw on an old post, you too suffer from RA.
I used Embril for years, had to switch to Humira a couple years ago.
Now on weekly dose of Humira, keeps it in check mostly.
The drug company is comping the cost thank goodness.
Hope you are doing well and aren't going broke paying for your meds.
Seeing your work gives me hope.
Jim
