Thanks Steve,

Sad to hear that. I didnt know that. It had been a while since I was in contact with him but I thought maybe he was still kickin around. I apprenticed with Brian back in 2009, lived with him for about 6 months. He had a nice little school going on and I learned so much from him. He had a lot of funny stories one of my favorites when he was an apprentice his teacher told him to stick his graver in a potato overnight and thats how you sharpen it. he said it took him a bout a week to figure out his teacher would sharpen it while he was away . I dont think anyone could make a better tortilla soup than him. Brian and I also went on a 4 day bike tour that ended in San Francisco crossing the golden gate and to this day one of the greatest adventures of my life. I have a lot more to say, but I will always keep him in my memory.

Much love

-H
