Hello every one. I just started engraving. I found a very competent Master who teaches me the art of engraving. My Master JJ Roberts is very competent and a good teacher. It is great that he shares his knowlege. I live in MD and have sucessfull finished a 3.5 year tool and diemaker aprenticeship in Germany.

Hi Bernie,

Welcome to the forum. I am a newbie to engraving myself but am having fun learning. Lots of good info and examples here. Where do you live in MD? I am in Westminster.

Not to jump into your conversation but I am located in New Market MD. Do you have engraving tools as I a trying to find someone local who engraves so I can come a look at there set up, see some tools at work and actually feel/see firsthand what a set up looks like?

JD Grim,

Unfortunately, Bernie was killed in an aviation accident some time ago. You could still contact JJ Roberts in Virginia though.
