First effort on a gun....musket brass
Here is my first effort on a gun. Mine, as I don't feel that confident yet. I chose this theme , for that of an indian trade rifle. It purely what came to mind and hand. I didn't try to make it too refined because of what it was to represent. The borders appear to be a bit stitchlike with a theme aimed at indian lore. Anyway, here it is.

That looks very nice and a great theme to it. Keep in mind that the engraving for the most part in the period was somewhat crude and very simple compared to todays work. Nonthe less yours looks very good. Keep it going and post some practice plates (it's a lot cheaper)
