Default Iris Pin in silver and shibuichi

Here is a pin in fine(pure) silver and shibuichi (70%copper/30%silver). The shibuichi is inlayed through-and-through and the gold bit is nunome-zogan overlay (Japanese Damascene or Koftgari).

For details of the process you can go here:
http://forums.dfoggknives.com/index.php?showtopic=25542

The small photo is close to scale.

Really beautiful design. The contrast is fantastic and inlay work is a difficult technique to master. Congratulations! and thanks a lot for sharing the info about Shibuichi... I had never heard about before.
