Hello from CT
Hi,
My name is Tom and I too have an addiction to cutting metal. Working as a computer engraver and gold/silversmith for a chain of stores in Connecticut for the past 10 years, I have caught the hand engraving bug. Everything I look at becomes a potential project. I even dream of shading and stippleing. But seriously... Thanks for the knowledge and help this forum provides. I have traveled to distant lands (Virginia Beach and Kansas)and spent much wampum to take classes which were very helpful, but not as much as the experience gathered here. Tom PS. I seem to be the only one affected in my area. Dispite the fact that 100yrs ago the Hartford, CT area was a hot spot for gun engravers, I seem to be the only one around. Is there anyone else?
