Default The Fox is Finished...Long Live the Fox!

I finally finished the floorplate/bolo tie that was one of the features of issue #80 of The Engraver. For those not in FEGA or not familiar with what I am talking about, it is a shortened rifle floorplate that I made a bolo tie from with sculptured scroll and raised inlay, including some 88 pieces of soft iron for various effects.

Steve has posted photos on the feedback side of this site so I will not repost here. To see the photos just click on feedback at the top of this page.

Regards,

Sam

Exceptionally nice Sam. It wasn't quite done in the pictures that were in The Engraver and I turned the page thinking i'd see it completed.

It certainly is an exquisite work of art.

Thanks for the kind words fellows. D...I wasn't sure when I mixed in the black leaf elements but the more I looked at the layout the more I liked it so just jumped right in. They are sort of part of the scroll and sort of not part of the scroll, if that makes any sense. Sorry, Peter, I am slow so couldn't get this done anywhere near soon enough for The Engraver.

Say, Van, how about sharing some of your warm summer air with an old man much too tired of winter already?

No problem sharing, will you help with the shipping?

Again compliments on the Fox.

Cheers
