Anyone in the Los Angeles area willing to share?
Hi, My names Saign (pronounced sane) and I've been interested in engraving for a long time. I've got a standard push graver set, which I'm not very good at, and I recently got into hammer and chisel engraving, (which for me is easier than push engraving but, I'm still not very good at...lack of practice) But I am very interested in the airgravers as I am determined to learn this fine art.
I live in the san fernando valley and work in the film industry as an armorer and fabricator and specialize in chasing and repousse as well as other things. If someone would be so kind as to show me the ropes with their tools, I would be glad to share what I know if anyone is interested. You can see my work here www.saignc.com Thanks in advance Saign |

Re: Anyone in the Los Angeles area willing to share?
Hi Saign,
I know it's not the greater L.A. area, but I live in San Diego and have a Palm Control and several sharpening templates. You're welcome to come by and try it out; maybe a weekend trip to S.D. is just what the doctor ordered! If you don't get any offers closer to home, keep it in mind. You can call me @ (858) 335-6002 if you're interested in setting up a date/time that works for both of us. Best regards, Doug Hall |

Re: Anyone in the Los Angeles area willing to share?
Thanks so much for the offer Doug! I would love to come by some time. I've got some friends down that way...actually have a friend up visiting right now who may use a ride in a couple days. I'll give you a call and maybe we can set something up.
Thanks again |
