Default Howdy howdy!

My name is Lee and I'm a 3D artist teaching 3D imaging and animation for a local private college.

I've always been tinkering and puttering with my hands. Before computers I drew posters, painted a little, and occasionally built (poorly) furniture, etc.

Recently I found a tutorial on how to make boxes from aluminum cans. I wanted to embellish / emboss them and made up my own scroll. Needless to say it looked like poop. This led me to research scrollwork, which is how I stumbled on this site!

In the past 3 days I've watched hours of videos and spent almost twice that lurking on the site and doing research. My scrollwork (pencil and paper) has progress exponentially (from poop to, "hey! is that a scroll?") and I hope to post pic soon.

Thanks, and have a great big day!

Lee
