Default Anyone recognize this work?

Hello,

New member here...interested in engraved firearms mainly.
Ran onto a S&W SS revolver that is signed and dated "MD '74"
Anyone recognize the work?
I'm pretty much positive it isn't a factory commissioned piece because I they shouldn't be signed...correct?

Thanks for looking,
ElKabong

Ask Mike Dubber. He's the only M.D. I can think of.

M.D. 74? Yeah, definately ask Mike Dubber. He's definately old enough to do good work like that sooooo long ago!

Yes, I can identify the work as mine. Thirty-four years ago - not too bad for a beginner!

Cool!
Thanks for the response. A friend of mine bought it as a factory engraved gun, but I didn't think factory commissioned pieces were usually signed. Kinda neat to track one down from 30+ years ago!

Thanks again,
Craig
