Default gold lining in flintlock pan

Does anyone know where there is a tutorial on this? Also, is 14k okay for a touch hole liner?

I had never heard of this, so Google and found several site that mention this and also the use of platinum for touch holes. Interesting

I would think that you would use the same method as you would for inlaying gold on a flat surface. The only difference that you are inlaying into a concaved surface. You may have to make a tool to help set the gold that matches the contour of the pan or rounded on the end at least I would think. Not tried this myself but that would be my thinking.
