Money Clip
It's been a bit since I posted any embarrasing pictures so I may as well...
Click on the thumbnails for a larger picture. This is a little money clip I made following instructions I got over at the Cafe. I'm justting getting back to my bench after a nasty cold so it's rougher than I'd like. I did a tutorial on the method I was taught - Click here |

Re: Money Clip
Steve .. you crack me up as always.
Have you got five bucks? A friend always used to say: "How ya doing?" I'd reply ... "I ain't dead or in jail so things are great." Then he would say "...but have ya got five bucks?" Sooo, I'd say you're way ahead now ... you've got a real nice money clip for that five bucks!! A bit of critique if I may ... .. cut your force lines a little deeper. Your backbone/stem should be more profound and your leaves should grow from it with the use of force lines. Vary the depth of those shade lines too. You're doing great and are improving very well!! Re: Money Clip
Chris
I'm married so I'll have to ask about the five bucks. You're right that this is cut a bit light - on the first one my 120 was not behaving so I decided I'd rather cut this one light than cruddy. I'm working on my shading style. Right now I'm sticking with the simpler 'shape indicating' shading with just some hints of higher level styles. As someone pointed out in another thread, better to do the simpler style properly than the more advanced style wrong. |

Re: Money Clip
Hi Steve
I don't think your money clip qualifies as embarrassing Glad your feeling better! |
