Default new to here, new to metal

Hello my name is David from England, I am a professional crystal glass engraver ( 30 years )-hand engraving glass freehand using a micromotor dental drill with diamond and stone burrs. I mainly specialise in wildlife but engrave any subject ie-portraits, houses, churches, coats of arms etc.,
I have engraved some metals using the drill I have but intend to do more metal using the metal gravers, artwork is not a problem but mastering the different method will be.
On the crystal I have engraved pieces presented to The British Royal Family, The President of USA ( Ronald Reagan), The Amir of Kuwait, The Sultan of Oman, The Sultan of Brunei, and I have exhibited my work in USA, Japan, Hong Kong, Italy and Germany.
I particularly like gun engraving and would like to try this one day.
