This practice plate was an attempt at cutting an initial on a key ring for my godchild to celebrate her getting her drivers license. The other was an attempt to cut a pattern I want to use on bottom metal of a friend's rifle. I see all types of mistakes but starting to get a feel for shading and I know I need to perfect my removal of background to get a more even and deeper relief. Any comments would be appreciated. Wish I had more time to practice. I apologize for the poor photography. Thanks.
